SOCIAL STUDIES - ANCIENT CIVILIZATIONS GROUP STUDY
Students will be studying an ancient civilization in an assigned group of 3 or 4. Each group has chosen 4 topics which have been evenly divided among group members. Each member of the group will research their topic and put the information on a word document. This should be at least one page- min 300 words. A bibliography must be included. In addition to internet resources, student must reference a text book or encyclopedia such as World Book. These are available at school.
The next step for the group is to make a collaborative presentation. The class will be sharing one PowerPoint presentation on Google Drive. Students will have to use an updated version of Firefox or Google Chrome to do this project. Older versions of Internet Explorer will not support this program. The groups will present their PowerPoint to the entire class. Each group member will contribute equally to the project.
